This is Chef Nidia from Casa Humo. I can't wait to share my family traditional Mexican cooking experience with you. 

 

I want you to have an amazing time during my cooking classes. However, there are a few details we need to go through in case you need to cancel your booking. Hopefully you will not have to :)

Cancellation Policy and Terms and Conditions

Your payment is non-refundable if the cancellation occurs less than a week (7 days) before the cooking class you booked. You may reschedule your cooking class or transfer it to another person within 3 months of the date first chosen. Rescheduling will not be possible after 3 months.

 

No show: If you do not show up at the cooking class you booked and did not notify Casa Humo prior to the class starting, your deposit is non-refundable, and your booking cannot be rescheduled.

 

*Special priced cooking classes or workshop are non-refundable regardless of the circumstances.

 

If you cancel your booking more than a week (7 days) prior to it, your payment is refundable but is subject to a cancellation fee of MXN 550, per person booked.

In case of any change in the number of people within 36 hours prior to the class, there is a penalty of half the initial amount per person.

Terms, Conditions, and Service Policies

By authorizing a quote issued by Casa Humo—whether by signature, message, email, or payment—you fully accept the following terms. We invite you to read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

 

Reservation Confirmation

Once the quote is authorized, the terms are finalized: concept, menu, date, time, location, number of participants, and financial terms cannot be modified. The confirmed number of guests is the guaranteed minimum for billing.

Increases in the number of participants are possible with a minimum of ten (10) business days’ notice prior to the event, subject to availability.

 

Payment

The event must be paid in full no later than seven (7) business days prior to the event date. This timeframe allows us to ensure the purchase of fresh ingredients and coordinate the kitchen staff.

If payment is not received on time, Casa Humo reserves the right to cancel the reservation without a refund.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations must be notified in writing (email or message with read receipt). The applicable refund depends on the notice period:

20 business days or more

0% of the total contracted amount

100% refund of amounts paid.

Between 8 and 19 business days

50% of the total contracted amount

Casa Humo will retain the applicable fee. If the customer paid more than the fee, the difference will be refunded; if the customer paid less, the customer must pay the remaining balance.

7 business days or fewer

100% of the total contracted amount

No refund. Any outstanding balance must be paid by the customer.

 

 

Rescheduling

In the event of force majeure (natural disasters, health emergencies, government orders), we offer to reschedule the experience within the following twelve (12) months, under the same terms and conditions.

Effective upon issuance. Casa Humo reserves the right to update these terms; the applicable version is the one in effect at the time the quote is authorized.
